Mintonette Sports is looking to train athletes of all experience levels! Mintonette thrives on making the sport fun as you're being introduced to the game of volleyball, while pushing you to be the best of the best by the time you graduate high school.
We understand everyone has a different commitment level and volleyball goals, so we offer a variety of playing options! We welcome beginner volleyball players and LOVE to see new faces in the gym.

1. Join a Mintonette Sports Team
Types of teams:
Mintonette Sports offers three divisions/levels of teams:
- Regional (Junior Mints)
The "National" division teams will be the highest commitment level and are geared towards athletes who want to play volleyball at the top level. The "Regional" division teams are a lower commitment level and are a great fit for athletes who are newer to the sport or don't want to travel as much. Please note the information to the right is tentative for the 2019-20 season and subject to change.
How to join a team:
These teams are formed once a year at our fall tryout/team evaluations. Anyone interested in playing on a Mintonette Sports team (any division) should attend tryouts. Click here to learn more about tryouts and register.
Who can play:
Our teams are open to girls ages 9-18 of any experience level. If you are 7 or 8 years old, please email email@example.com. We can bring your daughter in for an evaluation to make sure she would be a good fit on a 10 & under team.
If you don't want the commitment of playing on a team, we offer a variety of playing opportunities throughout the year! These are available for players of all experience levels.
Training: Our training programs typically run for 6 weeks at a time and are geared towards the 14 & under age groups. These training sessions are held once a week for 1.5-2 hours at a time. You will register for the full training program for one flat cost.
Camps & Clinics: These 1-3 day events are typically offered in the fall for a cost of $55-$95. These are broken down by age groups: 14 & Under and 15 & Up. Each Camp and Clinic will have a specific skill focus.
Small Groups: This are our most popular format of training throughout the year. We will offer one hour sessions (typically limited to 8 athletes per session) for $30-$35 each. These are also broken down by age group and specific skill focuses (ex: hitting, passing, serving). When registering, you can pick and choose individual dates that work best for your schedule.
Private Lessons: Most of our Mintonette coaches offer private lessons throughout the year. Each coach schedules his/her own lessons and has different rates. If you are interested in starting private lessons, please contact our coaches. If you're not sure who to reach out to, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
